Dr. Jimmy Balkcom, DMD
Dr. Balkcom is originally from Blakely, Georgia and attended the University of Georgia before earning his DMD degree from the Medical College of Georgia Dental School. Dr. Balkcom is married with two married sons and one granddaughter and enjoys traveling with his family, gardening, and watching college football.
Serving the Snellville, Loganville, and Grayson communities of Gwinnett County since 1982, Dr. Balkcom has helped thousands of patients restore and maintain their oral health.
Dr. Balkcom is a member of the American Dental Association, Georgia Dental Association, and Northern District Dental Society.
Dr. Howard Scott
Dr. Howard Scott is an alumnus of Jackson State University of Mississippi and a proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated. In 2019, she obtained her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Meharry Medical College, located in Nashville, TN. Furthering her dental training, Dr. Scott completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency program at the University of Tennessee in 2020. She resides in the Atlanta metro area with her husband and her three daughters. In her free time, she enjoys vacations and game nights with friends and family.
Dr. Scott takes pride in cultivating beautiful, healthy, and functional smiles while providing dental care with excellence and empathy. She strives to develop meaningful connections with her patients, focusing on the patient’s individual needs and goals.
Dr. Scott has devoted time to continuing education seminars enhancing her dental education in restorative dentistry procedures that enhance a patient’s smile and confidence including veneers and crown-and-bridge aesthetics.
